Time to catch up!
WINEBO-CON™ at Vina Robles was a great success! There were presentations given by Mimi, myself and Justin. The wine was flowing and the company was great! It seemed like everyone had a good time, and some fun memories were made (for those of us who actually remember what happened – haha!).
I added some things to my portfolio. My samples from Empire! Empire! (I was a Lonely Estate) came in this week. Thought the shirt and 7" split came out great. I also received my Owlnaut tee from Teefury so I put that guy up as well.
Some news from work (Kraftwerk Design)... if you've been in a Trader Joe's recently, perhaps you've seen the new, organic wine called Green Fin. That's my design! That's my woody! (That's what he said?). In all seriousness though, check it out if you get the chance. Here's a snapshot I took of it:

Things have been busy gearing up for the holidays! There's been a couple of projects that I just finished (hopefully I can post to my portfolio soon!), one of which is my holiday postcard. I just placed my order and should hopefully have these mailed out in the next week / couple of weeks / few weeks. I added a couple of new tees to my portfolio. The first being the commissioned tee from AIR Media. I previously linked to their website where they had the tee for sale, but it looks like it was taken down already. Not sure if those shirts are still available for purchase or not. The second is a Threadless Type Tee that I had the opportunity to design. It's something a little different than what I usually post on my site. It's purely type design and features a great slogan by Tim Alumbaugh. Be sure to check it out!
I started a little series on flickr of Craigslist Dogs. It's a warm up drawing exercise where I find a dog of the day on SLO Craigslist and do a quick portrait of the pooch. It's a fun, stress-free way to transition into drawing mode... though it IS a little sad to see so many unwanted doggies posted on Craigslist. If you see something you like, please consider adopting! One of the dogs comes with shampoo.

First, I have a shirt for sale over at Teefury.com! It's only for sale for 24 hours and a few have already passed. It should be up for sale until midnight (east coast time) so if you want a copy, make sure you grab it soon!
Next, I was featured in a new book that just came out. It's called TEES, put together by the very talented due, MAKI. A lot of friends & peers are also in this book so it's worth at least flipping through if you happen to see it. They're available online at Amazon.com or, if you're lucky, in a local bookstore near you!
Finally, I also have another shirt design for sale over at Airmedia.org. These folks were a pleasure to work with and you should definitely support them if you can.

Just updated my portfolio with a couple of new Hellogoodbye shirts. The shirts are for sale at their tour so check them out if you get the chance! I had the amazing opportunity to meet the guys and they were awesome. I took a video of one of their new songs... enjoy!
